No, throwing away the furniture risks spreading infestation and adds an additional 30 days of time to the original treatment plan.

If you don’t have furniture in the room and there is nothing to treat in the room, the bed bugs will go dormant, and outlast the chemical treatment. It is recommended to leave furniture/belongings stationary throughout the treatment to ensure maximum effect from chemicals to pests. This also allows for shorter treatment times.

1-2 spray treatments or 45 days minimum for light to moderate infestations & 3-6 spray treatments or 2-4 months minimum on heavy infestations.

8-10 hours is recommended to ensure the chemical has time to fully dry. It is recommended that your furry friends take a mini vacation during the time of treatment as well.
